My comment about hotels was specific to Marriott. There don’t seem to be any hotels open in the islands for early April. But there do appear to be plenty of non Marriott options.
I really think it is too early to make reservations in the islands for next spring. Most don't release dates until early fall. That said Domes of Elounda ( tons of info on this resort in the Marriott forum) was open this year in early April. We did not stay there opting for a villa rental instead.... write DOE and ask...we found that writing direct to the hotel they often will take a reservation that far in advance....
