Hi all -- I booked a flight to Athens next April 3-12 without doing a ton of research.

I was hoping to spend most of my time in Santorini and some of the Greek islands. However, it looks like most hotels will be closed at such an early date in April.

Does anyone have recommendations for places that we could fly to within 2-3 hours of Athens that are warmer with more stuff open and more to do in early April? It looks like Bodrum, Turkey and Cyprus might be good options. We don't mind colder weather, as long as there will be plenty of hotels open and the towns aren't shut down. We also enjoy hiking and cultural stuff.
