I've picked up Smart EX tickets from the ticket machines and it's pretty straight forward as long you remember the following:
  • Bring the credit card you used to buy the tickets
  • Remember the login password for your Smart EX app
  • Only ticket machines with EX logo can print out the Smart EX tickets
There is an option of boarding with an IC card but you have to register it and I believe its only for up to two people.
