Kuoni certainly do have 'exclusives' for the UK Markets, but the way around that is to find a market that it doesn't have exclusivity for. Germany? Netherlands? Sri Lanka? Obviously double check wherever and whoever you book with, but i've had this problem with a Kuoni Exclusive on Koh Samui that was quickly resolved this way.
