You can also use the Suica card on the Osaka metro ( and easy to recharge too in Osaka)

Yeah I've bought my ticket one way so far from SYD/MEL/NRT/HND/ITM in business class all the way flying overnight in JAL. I was looking at all the options before I purchased the ticket on points. The main issue was that I land in NRT and then most of the morning/daytime flights leave from HND, but I wanted to try JAL in business overnight, ANA would of been better as it lands in HND but I have already flown them on business. My friends are leaving the next morning on JAL economy but JAL have a late afternoon connection in NRT to go to ITM. As my flight arrives at 905am and my HND flight leaves at 1230pm which arrives at 130pm at Osaka, by the time I would be able to catch the Narita Express from NRT into the city then catch the Shinkansen to Osaka it would of been around the same time or evena bit later when I arrived. This way it cost me the same amount in points but a little bit of a hassle to get to HND by 1130am and I don't have the cost of the Shinkansen as well.
I've already been to both airports and been around the Tokyo subway, so I think if everything goes as planned I should be able to do the transfer by train. Or should I just catch the direct limousine bus?

( get the luggage compamy at NRT to transport your large case to osaka for next day delivery) then get the Shinkansen to Shin-Osaka?
How much does this cost as I might use this service going back to Tokyo if we decide to go to Mt Fuji on the way there?

That's good to know, so no need to buy the local Osaka pass card?
