Il Ridotto Venice 1 star

I tried Il Ridotto in Venice, which has reasonable prices in this overpriced town.
The restaurant is relative small (as indicates the name) and modern furnished.

We took the nice Courses tasting menu which was a surprise and came 140,00 €.
First the Amuse Bouches

Now the menu. The Tortellini were unfortunately filled with chicken, so not suitable for us.

Petit fours

Service was friendly, but not polished. The food was solid, but not outstanding. The risotto for excample was very spicy, perhaps overspiced for my taste. Andy Haller wrote he couldn´t understand the Michelin star. Personally I´m not so sure but it wasn´t at the upper Edge of 1 star level. At lunch they offer a menu at 35 €, which is a steal in Venice.
