Had an interesting conversation on the phone with a rep from one of the other banks besides Citi who accepts gebit payments who straight up said "Is this one of those gift cards you're using? I've seen people use those before. how neat" I said it was a new spending card from a different bank , but interesting that some of these reps know all about this process and are comfortable with it.... Feels very different with a bank customer service rep being okay with this as opposed to the walmart CSR just shrugging off the VGC > MO/Serve method when you say "doing it for airline miles".

All in all, glad no human contact is needed with Citi
