The majority of the 777s in the AF fleet are refreshed with the BEST cabine, with the exception of those in the COI configuration to high-density, lower-cost demanded destinations like the French DOM, Caribbean, and sometimes to places like Montréal and (I think) Atlanta.

It's unfortunate but like others mentioned, the touristic destinations demand a greater capacity of Y seats at a lower cost......I guess Montréal falls under that bucket.
