Hey all, would love any advice or others who have experienced the same issue. I had an AMEX Fine Hotels & Resorts booking for this evening at a hotel in Miami. When I get to the hotel, they say they don’t have the reservation and to call AMEX. I call AMEX Travel, they confirm the booking is active, and call the hotel. Long story short the hotel didn’t receive it and the hotel is full. I have had to seek alternative accommodation. AMEX confirmed there would be no cancellation or no-show fee.
Is there any sort of reservation guarantee from FHR, or (presumably not) the hotel? FWIW booked with AMEX Platinum. Who would I even contact to discuss this?
