I just received notice that I have been upgraded to Gold, but my account clearly shows only 18k miles earned in the current period, with 22k to go before I hit Diamond. I had Gold in the past, but failed to maintain it for the current period. I will be earning plenty of miles this year, so I should have no problem hitting Diamond/*G in the next few months (as long as they are not bought out by KE or shut down). I was just wondering why they bumped me up early. All of my past and future flights this year are *A (not OZ), and I have not had any flight activity in over 3 months.
