More a question out of curiosity - tomorrow 3 of us are flying in the same Westjet plane (Ottawa to Calgary). 2 people booked together, 1 separately. We all checked in today, 24 hours before, and we’re looking to move out seats together.
For the party of 2, there was far less shown as available, and anything selected showed a $26 charge. For the single flyer, far more available and no charge no matter what seat was chosen.
Just curious why that’s be. I’m guessing it’s eother just the algorithm and it gives different options for 1 person vs 2, or because the party of 2 uses a Westjet rewards card and gets other perks like free bags, so they ar elicited in other things?
Thanks in advance!
