During the summer, Doha 5* hotels are dirt cheap outside of this deal.
The Millennium and Warwick are around £50 and the Oryx Rotana and the Double Tree around £75 including service charges

Stayed at the Westin last week. No recognition of Marriott status or anything (although I did get the number added to my account in weeks prior) but to be honest the room was huge, lovely and just a place to doss for 13 hours.. no issue with checking in at weird hours, was in at 0600 and left at 1900.
Very large, well-appointed rooms there. You can't help but get the feeling the place is empty though. When I was there, restaurants, the gym and public areas were very quiet. Can't imagine the hotel was a quarter full.
