I flew back from Orlando PE - I upgrade for $174 at check in - I decided against a $700 CW upgrade which was more than the upgrade from the UK cost to CW.
I actually had a very pleasant flight - plenty of leg room, plenty of width and the seat was quite comfortable. I did have the benefit of an entire middle row to myself which may have helped the peaceful aspect; but I felt that if only the arms weren't fixed I could have made myself an Air New Zealand style sky couch!
I agree the food wasn't great but then again I didn't think the CW food going was great either - the chicken was pink in CW - I didn't finish it but it was cooked in WTP. I think I would pay to upgrade to that again for the extra space. But I accept if my seat had been dirty, if the flight had been busy, if I had been thirsty my impression might be different.
