For a trip like this frequent flyer miles earned should be well down the list of items to consider (at the bottom)

AA , BA, Cathay Pacific CX, Japan Airlines JL, Qantas QF and others are all in
Oneworld alliance. So you can earn & burn ff miles, subject to flights being eligible.
Alaska ffp is a partner of AA (for international flights), BA, QF, JL, CX and other airlines. The AS ffp is currently one of the best ffp. Not revenue based ff earning and no dynamic awards (yet?). But the AS award chart is very prescriptive.
