Hi dear FT members

I have a question
AA flight MIA-PTY was delayed more than 90min. I didnt check in and didnt go to airport either. They told me I do have 7 days to reassign a new date for travel without penalties charges and without price difference.

Is there anyway to remain it open for reassign it for a later date -after 7 days?

From where those 7 days come out? It's an AA policy. For those cases?

What if I cant flight during those 6 days?

the 7 days its today. So I was thinking the following options

1. Call AA And try to tell them to assign me a later date for my travel without talking about my real situation just giving them the locator number

2. not to call at all. And call AA after those 7days. I.e. after this monday for reassign my ticket date

What's tour auggestions..??
