Clearly two sides to every story and at the mere whiff of any joke the airline aren’t going to dismiss it.
i think it merely confirms my point a few posts above that actually Israel is far from the worst location if one is to make such a dumb statement. It was checked, dismissed as silly and empty, and the case was closed. Despite what many think, approaches to safety can be very pragmatic in countries exposed to permanent high risk.
