Stayed here mid of May and liked it quite a lot. The maintenance of some facilities could have been better (during our stay of the changing rooms for the spa was closed due to a broken door). You should also not expect any upgrade. They were apparently fully booked even on a May weekday. But the location is great, the food is nice (though on the expensive side), and the staff during our stay was excellent.
i'm okay with no upgrade. i heard that the pool was very dirty and not cleaned, and that the smell is quite bad because the property is close to a geothermal plant. and that also breakfast is overpriced and poor value which is not the biggest deal except this hotel is in the middle of nowhere
