1. The friend who referred me told me I can add flights that have taken place during the last three months to my account. Is this true? If so, where do I do this?
2. I have an existing flight on Turkish that I booked a few weeks ago through Chase that I'm taking in two weeks. How can I add that one?

Thank you for your help; sorry if these seem like silly questions!
I assume you have joined already? If not sign up today and get a M&S number.

This is what the FAQs for M&S say:

Can I earn Miles on flights I took before becoming a member

The start date of your membership does not affect your Miles earnings. You can earn Miles on any flights you have taken in the last 12 months

To claim them fill in a feedback form from the TK App or website, selecting “Miles & Smiles program” as the Feedback Category and “Mileage Accrual” as the Feedback Subject. I imagine you would need to upload boarding stubs or provide the PNR of the flights that you took.

Then wait...

As for adding your M&S number to existing flights you could try and do this via the app or website, otherwise ask Chase to add the number in for you or even at the airport if the flights are imminent.

EDIT: I agree with SFOTraveler1984 - the Twitter Help Desk would be a good way to do this as well.
