None at all. My skin would be rather pink for a day, but I believe that was more roseacea-related than anything. I chose not to wear makeup to cover it, though I could have. No flakiness at all. After each treatment, the technician put a warm towel on my face, followed by a "calming" cleanser and moisturizing balm. It was very relaxing.
