The ATL overnight is a 'go'. Hilton near the airport booked with points. Super helpful info about Con E vs F. I checked FlightAware and F3 seems to be the gate of choice for this flight, but of course NO GUARANTEE for the flight I will be on. I'm really not sure I can do a few weeks with just carry on given the work uniforms / group dinner clothes etc. None of my bags are oversize, but good to know about the screening limitations. Good to know I will need an escort out of E, if this is where my bag ends up. Knowing that upfront will help to keep a good attitude after two very long flights in economy. :-)
Gooselee - I did some searching and found a thread discussing exit strategies for E concourse. I will ask about the ATL short check in DSS.
