New development is EVA lawyers showed up with >10 authorization letters from union FAs, asking for the return of working documents. The letters seem to be notarized by the district court, however the union officials refused returning the document, stating they do not know if the letters are authentic, and require FAs to appear in person to retrieve the documents.
Only low double digits out of 2000 even with double pay offer is a slap in the face of management. Imagine offering double pay and not even 1% of workers return to work instead of striking
That's huge numbers and embarassing for company
Not even 5% will go back with double pay , not looking good for my flight on the 4th
Had no idea BR management was this incompetent. Labour relations is a reality for all big airlines, but Eva seems to have zero competence on it. Even in Europe where unions and labour laws are a lot more strike tolerant, the European airlines don't have long strikes like this. This is due to years of poor employee relationship management by Eva
Zero regard for customers from Eva, we are their customers, their workers have zero obligation to customers , it is the company that does and they just don't care
