In terms of the time offset you've got close to the worst-case scenario on the jet lag. Some people can sleep in difficult situations, but I have a strong circadian rhythm and can only sleep on planes if I'm really tired AND have a wall to lean against (assuming flying in the back...I could probably sleep up front)
If you do get snared the likely scenario is being wide awake at maybe 4 a.m. and just totally crashing around 7 p.m. (as if you'd pulled an all-nighter and it was 9 a.m. or so the next day), and then trying to push the wake-up and crash times 90 minutes or so later progressively over the next 3-4 days.
