Agree or disagree, but I average 60 departures out of DEN per year. Never, not once has it taken more than maybe 10 minutes for me. However, I have PreCheck and Clear, both of which are much cheaper that hundreds extra per flight even compared to COS. Yes EGE is easier, but so is COS, and so is plenty of small airports. But cost is a concern to any company I have worked for. I can justify a little extra money for the flight, because the expensed mileage is cheaper, the parking etc at COS, but no company will allow unlimited airfare expense to save a few minutes.

This Moxy airline that doesn't even exist yet will have a challenging road ahead of them, as mentioned before airport convenience is certainly important, but cost is as well. EGE is most certainly not an option for DEN located flyers, period. No idea why someone would drive a few hours each week to EGE when DEN is close and easy. Perfect freedom is hopping in my personal airplane, but companies don't like the cost or the liability of that option. Perfectly understandable.
