I'll give 'em credit for this: the staff inside the lounge were pleasant. A couple of us even joked, after encountering grumpy staff pretty much everywhere else in the hotel, that the lounge had cornered the nice people!

And the bartender at High Velocity was a nice guy and knew his beers pretty well. Well enough to make recommendations on a couple taps I had never tried.
