Are you thinking about taking the hotel shuttle from the Airport Express station (HK station) in conjunction with the ferry? You can walk there from the ferry terminal in about 15 minutes (elevated walkway toward IFC, then escalators down to Airport Express arrivals level). The shuttle is fine, but doesn't run very frequently. The walking distance from the ferry terminal to Courtyard is only minimally greater than the walk to IFC, although not covered and more confusing. I would definitely think a taxi is the way to go.
As for getting to/from the airport, shuttle bus and Airport Express works fine, but there's also a public bus to the airport that departs close to the hotel.
