if you're crediting without much expectations, then OZ seems decent enough. More relevant to you than the 2 years to get status (which you acknowledge is unlikely), is that miles credited to OZ have a hard 7 year expiry date, which is not an issue if you plan on using any miles earned for a flight within those 7 years.
