Thank you for sharing this. You are a "rara avis" in that you don't have the selective memory that many world travelers have when it comes to these issues. Over the many years of Moderating these forums, Ive sometimes gotten the feeling that strikes, traffic jams, or other potential inconveniences only happen in Argentina... Mind me, Im fully aware that we have more than out "fair share" of mishaps in this Country, but its a breath of fresh air to see that there are folks out there that call things the way they are... ^ ^ ^

My hotel offered a buffet dinner that night, using food that could be cooked on charcoal grills.
