Venice: Peggy Guggenheim Collection

Next we wanted to visit Peggy Guggenheim Collection and of Course I had pre-reserved tickets. Again there was no line and the Reservation fee was wasted.
We were greated by a sculpture:

The garden offers some art

and the grave of Peggy Guggenheim.

She is buried beside her Lhasa Apso dogs, I think there could be much worse company.
The main collection is inside Palazzo Venier die Leoni, which is uncompleted. First some special excamples of art. Always when I see something like that I sak myself why I didnīt become an artist...…

There is a room dedicated to Peggys daughter Pegreen Vail Guggenheim, who died with only 41 years.

There is also some other art of course.

But now to the famous entry of the Palace at the Canale Grande with the famous sculpture by Marino Marini, called "The Angel of the City". I think if you normally ride through most towns at the world like this you will at least get a nice ticket
