Well, I'm glad I checked this thread again.... I didn't realize I was "hooking up some Cuban cooking!" Okay, really, I will make it and I can bring some Cuban food. I'll make that cheese flan (tastes like a cross between regular caramel custard and cheescake) that I made for Mileage Addict's party and which he loved (this will be tough 'cause I can't have any... I'm low-carbing it these days before my vacation to Hawaii). Alysia, I hope you can make it since I know you've been wanting to try this dessert for a while!
