If there is Avios availability in First and you have the Avios to do the transaction, then just call up BA Holidays and they can complete the transaction. There is no online front end of this, but UuA is normally possible. If you mix airlines or are booked in World Traveller / EuroTraveller then the fare basis may prevent an upgrade, notably fare class G, but you don't get that issue in Club or WTP.
