Upgrading redemption bookings with cash
Hi all,

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere but I couldn’t see a definitive answer in the forum.

i have a redemption booking departing on Friday to Athens. It’s outbound in economy and back in club (4 seats).

I’ve called BA and asked if I can pay CASH to upgrade the outbound leg, as I know there aren’t any reward seats available. They say no. Is this correct? I’m given the option in MMB and then it says I need to call up to upgrade.
