Was your 3.5 hour estimate from Andaz to Tabacon including the impact of all that rain? Or was it actually longer?
From Papgayo to Tabacon took about 3.5-4 hours. Did a brief stop for lunch. On the way back, probably 4.5 hrs. We had lunch and stop to look around Liberia. If you drive and don't stop I think 3.5 hrs is about right.
