Stayed here last week for a visit to Disney. Arrival at 10pm. Long line to check-in...we didn’t get to our room until 10:55, which isn’t ideal after a long day of travel from California.

We had two rooms—one for my wife, daughter, and me, and another for my parents. I had some pre-arrival e-mail communications with the hotel and they indicated that we would have lounge access for the primary room, but not the second. It was available for purchase for 15000 yen per night, which was nearly our room rate so we passed I tried applying SNAs to a club suite for my parents room so they would have access too, but it was declined as soon as the 5 day window opened. We were both placed in sea view rooms. Rooms were clean, but dated and unspectacular. On check-in, we chose to take the breakfast amenity at Grand Cafe (buffet) and opted to purchase buffet for my parents (3400 yen). Buffet is solid and coffee was excellent.

We’ve stayed at this hotel 3 times and I’m struck by the variation in room design/quality. On our first stay, our room was old and dated. Second stay, room was modern and slick. This stay, back to old. Some floors have kid themes, which look super tacky to me. We spent most of our time in the parks so rooms/club were not high priorities for us, but the lack of consistency in quality/decor isn’t ideal. We’ll likely return to the area in 4 or 5 years and will probably stay at the Sheraton again unless the Disney properties are competitively priced (which I don’t expect).
