Also, remember C/D does not have the entertainment system under the seat so you do have slightly more room under the seat in front of you. I was in 11F last night on a 320 and 10F had a very slight recline even though that occupant tried to move it back further several times hard enough to spill my drink that was on the tray table.
I was in 2A on a 321 Core the flight before and I was bothered by the recline of 1A that I switched to exit row on the flight back, but I'm 6'8 so I'm in EMS almost any flight over an hour (not on JFK/BUF E190) and usually exit row YMMV.
