Hey guys, I´m really starting to get confused and hope to find a final answer here: I´ll be flying from Vienna to Hanoi with China Southern on the 4th of July. The itinerary is:

Flight CZ6022 from Vienna to Guangzhou (19:25 on the 4th of July - 14:40 on the 5th of July) with an technical stopover in Urumqi (07:55 - 09:40 on the 5th of July). Layover in Guangzhou is 7h 40mins. After that flight CZ371 from Guangzhou (22:20 on the 5th of July) to Hanoi. The total time in Urumqi therefore is below the 2 hour mark, 1h 45mins to be exact, the total time in China will be 14h 25mins (07:55 - 22:20 on the 5th of July). I´m traveling with a German passport, no stamps from Turkey.

Should I be fine with this itinerary to just transit trough China without getting a Visa beforehand? There are so many conflicting reports, I´m trying to figure it out for days now. Thank you for your help!
