Tthere will be no bag transfer issue because of this, HEL check-in agent will make that happen.
If waitlisting for an upgrade, the delayed check-in may impact the gate waitlist position buy status and fare class will be the major factors.
always ask at the gate to be sure your bag is in their system for the onward flight. I averted disaster not too long ago on Swiss when they pulled the bag with no notification as I hadn’t paid their bag fee.
