Along with JFK-LON, this is one of the most heavily serviced international routes in the world. If you add to it, connections on the NA and European side of the Pond, there are even more.
There are, of course, situations when everything is fully booked and there is nothing to be done. But, that would be rare. There are also massive weather IRROPS and in that situation, it won't matter either.
If this was the once weekly to TOM, I would do some planning. To, CDG, not so much.
