I saw I availability online on UA.com for an upcoming LH flight (on Sat), online I couldn't book it but called in and the agent could see it in the front end and back end system. The agent was able to grab it but then lost it, however she did Waitlist me for the seat and I said to call in in 12-24 hours to see if LH confirms it. I also received a UA and an LH confirmation number.

I didn't think UA could do this but i am glad she did.

Has this happened to anyone before and if so should I expect LH to confirm it or not?
