This morning, my local Safeway was OOS on the $100 MCGC’s, so the Customer Service desk let me substitute two variable cards, at $500 each(!) with the same discount. To add icing to the cake, this transaction did not delete the promotion from my J4U account, and I was able to re-use it at another store a few minutes later.

A win-win.
