Thank you for your reply. It is merely because I would like the 50% cabin bonus (AY is 25%) and the 100% Gold bonus. Its just a leisure trip which gives us the chance of lunch in the CX F lounge, a visit to the QF and AA Flagship lounges and the new AY platinum lounge plus 2 days in Oslo and a day in HEL. BA direct to OSL on our dates in CE was over £700 so in that sense its a good value ticket, with more TPs than the direct flight
