While this is true, wouldn't the risk be somewhat reduced with a business class ticket? Or would it still depend on the class restrictions (discount business vs full fare business)?
Even the reputable ones like Expedia are not always easy to deal with.
Yes, I just worked through something on a 3rd party booking. I booked an Emirates ticket through the Chase UR portal. I had to because I was using UR points to pay for the ticket. Anyway, Emirates canceled a couple of the flights after I booked, so I needed to rebook. The flights on which I was automatically rebooked didn't work for me, so we had to choose other flights. It was kind of a pain. I had to go through Chase travel, and they had to contact Emirates. It was a hassle, but we got it done.
