I recall reading an article in Fortune magazine that the old Continental Airlines used to pay bonuses to pilots based on fuel economy. Apparantly not running the AC at the gates saved fuel, so the pilots never turned it on and the passengers roasted. I thought the AC was run by "shore" power and didn't consume jet fuel, but if so, perhaps Jetsgo is trying to save money on fuel???
