Day 1: [Atlantic Beach Country Club and] Arrival at the World Golf Hall of Fame followed by lunch
We needed to be at the Sawgrass Marriott for around 9am Friday morning and it's around a 3 and a half hour drive from Tampa so we did what any self respecting golfers would do. We went the day before and fitted in an extra round on Thursday afternoon. We left early on Thursday morning and stopped around halfway at First Watch in Ocala which is convenient in two respects; it's just off the I-75 and also serves delicious pancakes.

I have a good friend who is a member of Atlantic Beach Country Club which is a great course that hosted the web.com Tour Championship for several years.
This is the view from the 1st back tee at Atlantic Beach. The tee is pristine because it's set in a corner of the practice putting green.
We arrived at the Marriott Resort around 9am on Friday morning and checked in with the Chase event team. I could tell it was going to be another very well run event. As before, Chase had organized a professional photographer to be on hand during the whole event. Daniel did a great job.
Here was the running order.
We departed for the World Golf Village on schedule where a buffet lunch was waiting for us. During the lunch Colin Montgomerie arrived, chatted with various groups and went off to sign our flags.
