Evening team, apologies for bumping a thread but did a search and nothing specific came up and is kind of schedule change related

seems QF have dropped a couple of SYD-CBR services or possibly downgauged them from 717 to dash. As a result my nice 2 hour layover after an overnight from JNB has blown out

questions:
1) I actually don’t need to go to Canberra anymore- any freak chance this means I can get my ultimate destination changed without paying through the nose? (Ideally to DRW but just as easy to terminate in whichever one of ADL/BNE/MEL has a red eye to Darwin that night and have work book me on a separate QF/JQ ticket)

2) if I was to try and get shifted to an earlier dash service, am I able to still get SC/KMs for business?
