Even though you can use the PP "lounge" pass in the restaurants they are restaurants not lounges. I'm only familiar with the unlimited access, but I guess the one time passes work the same way?
Since u want to eat I would guess that your best value is to use them in restaurants rather than "lounges" which have limited food (but some have free beer and wine but barely drinkable and probably not what u want with children) and aren't condusive to active kids.
There is another PP restaurant outside (Sorry CORRECTION INSIDE) security at the UA terminal at SFO that emphasizes fish (Yankee Pier)- I think you can look at the menus online (but not necessarily in the PP app), but pricey - a few months ago I got a salad that was a bit of greens and a small amount of crab (like 3 oz) and it used up pretty much the whole credit
That said I don't know how long your passes are good for but there are a lot of food choices at sfo and a food court type place near the (far eg not 60's I think) with lots of choices so depending on your future plans I'd take a look to see what best meets your needs (and a lot of info can be obtained online about what is available and ?cost). If I remember correctly the food court prices seemed a lot better to me than the restaurants - but it's been a while.
