On an interesting note, I noticed that 85C supports the common AID with their Clover Minis. PIN wasn't asked for, however, which makes me think they just chose to route that particular transaction over a PINless network.
To update, it looks like PIN's asked for with at least Chase debit cards now (and for small amounts, too). PIN isn't asked for with PIN-preferring credit cards, however (such as Diners Club)--but that could easily be a function of the transaction amount.
