Thanks, House, having commuted between LHR-CDG on bmi most of last year, I am well aware of the horrific service at CDG! I find if I am really polite, innocent, and slightly clueless, they always end up taking pity on me...

I am indeed on the 7:50 on 26/8! 11:05 is quite a tight connection though - do you know how often bmi is delayed getting into CDG?! I'll look out for you in the DC lounge at LHR... I'll be the one with the large gin & tonic at 7:15am!
So... nobody else with UA upgrade success stories from CDG then?! (I will sort of be paying for it, as I have a coupon...)
