Assuming that this is all on one ticket, UA will rebook you onto the next available PDX flight (at no charge) if you miss your connection. Since SFO-PDX runs frequently (for example, there are 8 scheduled tomorrow), I wouldn’t worry too much about this unless there happens to be a big event in the PDX area that day.
