Looks as though your family found the same as I did. I could not get the lumbar support to go flat and it made it feel very bumpy. I think that BA have reduced the width to make up for the increased pitch. The 777 I was on was configured 2-4-2. On the craddle seat equipped 777 it is 2-3-2.

I didn't have a problem with the divider. Mine stay exactly where I wanted it.
