Just checked out of a two nights stay there and I was disappointed. Overall the hotel is dated, my room had a lot of wear and tear, specially the poor windows (not closing, poor soundproofing - I could hear the take off noise from BHX) . Shower pressure low, small bathroom.
The breakfast was really poor for an Hilton, not better than the one at Hampton Dockland I was in just before. The gym is also dated and quite cramped.
The staff was a bit sour, specially the concierge who greeted me with “All right, mate ?”.
I agree on the rooms but disagree about breakfast and gym....... I found the breakfast to be fairly good here compared to other Hilton’s and I liked the Gym and felt it was reasonably big ( for a hotel gym ) and the equipment okay ....that said the “one towel “ rule in the spa annoyed me ......had to go all the way back to my room to collect one.
What did you think of the exec lounge?
